As with many new cutting edge technologies it is quite easy to over look the intricacies to avoid making potentially huge mistakes that could cost a small fortune. If you do not take the time to investigate and setup your system correctly there is the potential that you could pay the price of an expensive bill in the future.
One of the most common pitfalls is the choice of an insure VoIP account password. If you do not choose carefully it is possible that your account can be quite easily hacked and used by un-authorised 3rd parties.
When looking at setting up a VoIP network take into account:
- Sufficient Bandwidth
- Use quality IP Phones
- The Server is capable of handling your needs
- Security both of your account and your server
